Work with me!

Is this you, Mama?
When your alarm goes off in the morning or your kid beckons, you find it impossible to peel your face from the pillow, dreading the moment your feet touch the floor. Yet another day to get through and you’re still tired from the hundreds of days before it. You want to cry, but you hold it together.
Somehow you get through the morning, chasing after the kids, begging them to eat and put on clothes and go pee pee in the potty before finally getting them to drop off. You feel both the pangs of guilt and sweet relief as you leave. You’ve lived an entire day, after all.
Except that you haven’t. It’s just getting started.

You rush into work- a job that doesn’t fulfill you as much as it used to. It just leaves you feeling even more exhausted and guilty, as the expectations of home have just been replaced with the expectations that you achieve in your career. You wonder if you’re doing the right thing. You wonder if you should quit or go part time. “But what about all the debt we’re in? Ugh, the debt. We’ll never be able to move into that better house we’ve been dreaming of until we get out of debt.” And, besides, you’ve worked so hard in your career to get where you’re at and you just don’t want it to be a wasted effort. Besides, people are depending on you here.

You work through lunch, maybe chugging down some sugary caffeine for energy (anything for more energy!). Unexpected phone calls make you jump as you beg the universe that it’s not school calling about a sick kid. You work harder than everyone else in the office and leave before everyone else, because you’re a mom and that’s what needs to be done. You’re pretty sure your boss is giving you a dirty look as you walk out the door.

Work with me!

Dinner is whatever is quick and easy- it doesn’t really matter because the kids won’t eat it anyway. The evening is even more hectic. Your kids are screaming and crawling all over you and bedtime is just the eternal struggle. Once the kids are finally all tucked away in their beds, you collapse on the couch with a sigh of relief. Finally! Some peace and quiet!
But that’s when the thoughts start to take over.

“Did I remember to sign that permission slip for Mary?”

“I should probably clean up all these toys. Why can’t my husband pick up his own stuff?”

“What was it that I was supposed to do for work tomorrow?”

“I really need to work out more. I haven’t lost any of the baby weight.”

“I should really try to get a babysitter for Friday. My husband wants to spend more time with me.”

And it doesn’t stop. Your brain is running at a 100 mph and you just can’t stop it. You toss and turn, wondering if you’re even cut out for this, before you finally drift to sleep.

Mama, I see you. The odds are stacked against you, but you are a superhero. I truly believe that you ARE cut out for this job, but sometimes we all need a little help to get there.

Work with me!

Imagine leaving behind that survival mode and trading it in for a life that is fulfilling, vibrant, and easy.

It’s possible, Mama! In my program, MOM EMPOWERED, your health is handled:

  • Rather than meeting each day with dread, you jump out of bed ready for the day, able to provide for yourself and your kids in the way that you want to.

  • Your mornings are no longer a struggle- you feel rested and refreshed. You feel patient and confident through breakfast and into drop-off, knowing that you are doing what’s best for your family.

  • Work has shifted. Work has shifted. It’s filling you up in a different way. Dare I say, it finally feels like a break? You’ve rediscovered your passion and feel aligned with your purpose. The time you’re spending at the office feels worthwhile and the doubt you had is waving at you in the distance as you leave it behind.

  • You make healthier decisions for yourself without deprivation. When you look at your body, you feel content and see a woman that looks familiar- she’s different (because motherhood), but you embrace the change.

  • Your house is under control and you’re better able to go with the flow when it’s not!

  • Your partner has noticed, too. You’re bickering less, communicating more, and feeling more intimate. You’ve finally been connecting in a way that feels both familiar and refreshingly new.

  • And the kids? They feel it, too. They’re acting out less and are less stressed out.

  • You are confident, capable, and at ease. You’re happier and believe that you are the GOOD MOM that you are.
I came into coaching needing balance and a perspective outside family and friends. It’s been particularly helpful to have another woman and bring ideas to the table. Lindsay asks the hard questions that I don’t always know the answers to and have never been asked. It has been great to grow with someone who has also sought balance in the chaos and finding self love and grace through wellness. I have gained a better perspective of myself and have new ideas to find balance that I’ve never tried on my own before. She’s given me accountability to follow through with my goals and I feel much more balanced and prepared with my “toolkit” for the future. Through coaching, I have gained better ways to communicate and verbally talk through things I am experiencing, particularly with my husband. I feel free, that I’ve left go of stuff, that I am owning and controlling what I can, and know that I’ve gained good habits to set myself up for success in the midst of the chaos of life. I am more myself!

I was looking for help. My weight and health were out of control and I needed someone to help reel me in. I knew that I related very much to Lindsay’s mindfulness approach and it would be helpful to me. Lindsay is very good at listening to me and reflecting back to me what I am saying. She is skilled at focusing me back on the issues that I want to work on. Coaching has helped me so much. I am now seeing myself in a more positive light, rather than beating myself up when I get off track. Lindsay has helped me to build better health habits.

When I first started working with Lindsay I couldn’t see how self-care could possibly fit into my daily schedule. Doing anything for myself seemed like a dream that I didn’t have time for – my plate was already piled high with attempting to juggle work life balance!

Lindsay helped me establish routines that worked for me and where I was at in my life at each session, always being careful to gently push me to grow without provoking anxiety or fear of failing to meet unattainable goals.

By taking a slow and steady approach that she developed specifically for my needs, she helped me make real changes that have made me feel like a better version of ME again!

You deserve to invest in yourself – and you most DEFINITELY deserve the incredible transformation and guidance that only Lindsay can provide as a integrative registered nurse coach!!!
